About Me
I am a clinical psychologist dedicated to supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health challenges. My work focuses on helping people manage ADHD, Sexual health concerns, Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive-compulsive disorder, and Schizophrenia in remission, within a supportive and nonjudgmental therapeutic space.
I primarily work with adults, offering personalized care that empowers clients to better understand themselves, cope with distress, and build a fulfilling life. Whether it's navigating the complexities of attention and focus, exploring identity and intimacy, or addressing persistent patterns of anxiety or intrusive thoughts, I approach each person’s needs with empathy and clinical expertise.
In addition to my clinical work, I have conducted and presented research on mental health at national and international platforms. I’m also committed to mental health advocacy at the grassroots level, regularly organizing workshops and awareness initiatives to promote understanding and reduce stigma.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy writing poetry and stories, creative practices I see as powerful tools for reflection and emotional expression.
What does Therapy with me look like?
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey toward healing, growth, and resilience.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Client-Centered Therapy. I adapt these evidence-based modalities into a flexible, individualized framework that aligns with each client’s goals and comfort level.
We all come across personal fables at different stages in our lives, and the purpose of living in a social world is to help each other grow. Becoming a therapist is my way of playing my part in the betterment of society by helping one individual at a time.
In my understanding, Therapy not only helps you understand yourself better, but it also provides you with the resources you need to adapt to a better life. Therapy is an active and collaborative process to make you independent. Seeking help is the first step on the journey to recovery and growth, a brave one.
The first session with me is focused on understanding the individual and their concerns in relation to their background and context to help them efficiently in the process of change. From there on, it is a completely dynamic and tailored process based on individual issues, needs, and goals.
